If I'm decoupaging napkins, I place a sheet of plastic over the top and smooth out with my hands. It stops the paper tearing as you pointed out.

I sometimes glue presses flowers string etc under the napkin. After it dries iron on wax paper. Beautiful!

I was watching someone open an order they got from Temu or somewhere like that it is was a book storage box and it said "Wive and Daughters" on the top and I was like oops. Love the project today. I save my packaging as well. Perfect for tags and such.

Oh no. We are getting ready to move and I gave all my packaging, paper bags and used junk mail envelopes to a friend. She was ticketed to get them. Time to start saving again. Husbands really don't understand the struggle.

Now that school is out, many of their libraries are getting rid of books, no longer circulating. I got several to dismember for the pictures, and most still had the pockets in them

Prior to watching your channel, I never thought twice about using junk mail and packaging for projects. I have been hoping to find one of the three section file folders with the center flaps to make a policy type pocket in our mail. They are pretty rare in the states. I finally received one! I danced around with it in my hand, so excited! My husband thought I lost my mind. I kept claiming it was Sevenplaza gold! He just shook his head like I was a crazy person. Thank you for opening our crafting eyes to endless possibilities with free stuff. AND the holy grail of flap file folders, lol😂
